The advent of Computer has transformed the age-old industrial society into a modern Information Society. Now, this technology is creating Knowledge Technology (KT), which would transform Information Society into Knowledge Society (KS). In Knowledge Society, an extremely strong workforce of creative and innovative knowledge workers would be required to create the knowledge products. Accordingly, Computer Science Department at JEMTEC aims at to play a lead role in national vision of creating the futuristic knowledge economy through creativity and innovation in Information and Knowledge Technologies.

JEMTEC is the proud owner of a state of the art fully air conditioned computer department with more than 500 nodes equipped with latest software and hardware. Internet connectivity is provided through Fiber optic 2 Mbps LAN. The entire campus is connected with the Local Area Network.

Mechanical engineering is one of the oldest branches of engineering and is called an evergreen branch because of the steady demand of mechanical engineers in the industry. Mechanical engineers are involved in design, manufacturing, installation, operation and maintenance of mechanical systems used by all disciplines of engineering. The studies of mechanical engineering focus on material science, solid and fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, controls, hydraulic machines, design, manufacturing and quality control, optimization of resources etc..To summarize, the versatility, wide-ranging scope and universal relevance of mechanical engineering opens up career avenues in all possible branches of the engineering profession.

The department of Mechanical Engineering at JEMTEC is equipped with state of the art laboratories and workshop with top-notch facilities for carrying cutting-edge teaching and prepare industry ready engineers.

The Department of Electrical Engineering has firm commitment to develop and produce Electrical Engineers of high technical knowledge combined with leadership skills and decision-making, design capabilities and problem solving skills. The department has well equipped laboratories to cover all the experiments prescribed in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Curriculum.

The EE department is playing its role in producing skilled Electrical Engineers. The Department posses a team of eminent and experienced faculty including Professors at doctorate level and Asso. Profs. All the students are encouraged and guided by faculty to carry out more than curriculum based experiments. All the laboratories are fully equipped with latest sophisticated machines and equipments. The department student association is conducting various seminars and workshops in order to improve the skill set of the students.

Electronics and Communication Engineering department is most attractive and preferred department to the students community. The Department consists of a team of eminent and experienced faculty including Professors and Asst. Profs. The young and dynamic department aspires to achieve global standards and competence with the untiring commitment of budding Engineering. The department has well equipped laboratories to cover all the experiments prescribed in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Curriculum.

In addition to this, the department has well-equipped computer lab. It is also provided with the labs in the field of digital signal processing, computer networks and VLSI via, Modelsim, Circuit maker, VLSI design and VHDL design with FPGA. Seminar, workshops, Intra departmental paper contest , group discussion etc are being conducted regularly by the department to update the students knowledge skills.

Civil Engineering Department is aimed at to provide dynamic workforce to lead country's infrastructural development. Traditionally, Civil Engineering has been associated with the design, construction and maintenance of physical structures as well as to sustain the natural environment. To hone the budding engineers, the department is offering wide spectrum of core and elective courses at each level, to inculcate scientific and professional expertise.

The undergraduate curriculum moulds students into excellent professionals by exposing them to different fields of civil engineering i.e. Environmental Engineering, Geoinformatics, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Water Resource Engineering and Transportation Engineering. The department is equipped with the state-of-art laboratory and adequate computational facilities.
