FRESHER STUDENT ORIENTATION PROGRAMME 2019
Students Orientation program ‘SOP-2019’ was organized at JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus (JEMTEC) on 22nd August 2019 for newly joined students of B.Tech, Law, B.Ed., BBA, BCA, BAJMC and B.COM programs.
The program was inaugurated with lighting of the lamp ceremony and Saraswati Vandana by Dr. Amit Gupta, Hon’ble Chairman JIMS. Dr. R.K. Raghuvanshi, Director JEMTEC, and Dr. Devendra Jha(Dean Academics) along with all the HODs of respective departments graced the occasion with their presence.
The program commenced with a welcome note by DR. A.K Jain, Head of Applied Science Department. He spoke about how a student can remain self- motivated for the attainment of long term professional goal as well as enjoy this new innings of life in the institute.
The program gained momentum with the address of Dr. Raguwanshi Director and he emphasized that the success in every facet of life is achieved by working not only hard but smart also.
Dr. Amit Gupta, Chairman JIMS, who took over the proceedings next, spoke about the legacy of the organization and core values of JEMTEC which make it a unique and sought after institute. He bolstered the confidence of new members of JIMS family by shedding light on the importance of setting high and right visionary goals.

This was followed by a brief talk on the JEMTEC student manual by Mr. Nafees Uddin, Assistant Professor, Applied Science Department. The program concluded with the vote of thanks moved by Dr. Arun Kumar, Head of BBA Department which was followed by lunch organized by JEMTEC.
FRESHER’S PARTY 2019-20
JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus witnessed an environment full of palpable excitement and zeal; students portrayed their creative instincts, vigor and the best of their talents in the FRESHER’S PARTY-2019, the event which was organized to welcome the new batch of future makers at the campus. to welcome the newly admitted students of first year registered under B. Tech., B.Ed., BBA, BA LLB, BBA LLB, BCA, BJAMC and B.Com Courses.
Continuing with the proud tradition of the institute, the celebration was marked as a grand success as it fulfilled the purpose of making every new student feel connected as an integral part of the JEMTEC family and ready to face the challenges of the year ahead. The fresher’s day was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter, and happiness.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Director Dr. R. K. Raghuvanshi, Dean Dr. Devendra Jha along, Cultural Committee In-charge and Dean Student Welfare, Dr. A. K. Jain along with all the respective HODs of different departments and all faculty members.
The programme started with the wonderful anchoring by the senior students. Audiences were mesmerized by the splendid performances one after another. It was a perfect combo of all entertaining activities such as the solo and group dancing and singing, poetry recitation, acting, drama etc.
It was a fun filled experience for the new students. There were sixteen participants from different departments of the Institute including eight girls and eight boys registered themselves for Mr. and Ms. Fresher title. They introduced themselves one by one in the specific time. All of them were impressive in their own way.
On the basis of their powerful performances, results were announced and Mr. Kartikey of BBA course and Ms. Pragya Awasthi of BCA course were declared the Mr. Fresher and Miss. Fresher of the party. The judges crowned Mr. and Ms. Fresher followed by a Cake Cutting Ceremony.
The event successfully wrapped up at 4:00 PM with the magic in the air tuned into the chords of pulsating rhythmic hearts and created bonds for the years that lay ahead.
