FRESHER STUDENT ORIENTATION PROGRAMME 2024
The Student Orientation Program for the newly enrolled students in the B.Tech, Law, B.Ed., BBA, BCA, BAJMC, and B.Com programs was held at the Campus Auditorium of JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus (JEMTEC) Greater Noida on 3rd September, 2024. The event was designed to welcome the students and provide them with an overview of their courses, syllabus, and other essential information, ensuring a smooth transition into their academic journey of higher education.
The program began with a warm welcome of the students, which included the lighting of the lamp and the Saraswati Vandana, led by Dr. Amit Gupta, the Hon’ble Chairman of JIMS. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Dr. Sachin Yadav, Director of JEMTEC, along with the heads of all departments.

Dr. Sachin Yadav, Director, JEMTEC delivered the inaugural address where he shared valuable insights on how students can stay self-motivated while pursuing their long-term professional goals and encouraged them to embrace this exciting new chapter of their lives at the institute. He emphasized that success in life comes not only from working hard but also from working smart.
Dr. Amit Gupta, Chairman, JIMS Group,spoke about the rich legacy and core values of JEMTEC, highlighting the institution’s unique standing and appeal. He also encouraged the new students to set high, meaningful, and visionary goals to help them achieve success.
Following this, Mr. Nafees Uddin, Assistant Professor in the Applied Science Department, provided a brief overview of the JEMTEC Student Manual. The event continued with an introduction to the curriculum and key aspects of the course. Students were briefed about the course structure, academic guidelines, and expectations for the upcoming semesters.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. A.K. Jain, Dean of Student Welfare (DSW).
