Dr. A. K. Jain is currently working as a Professor (Physics) and Head of Applied Sciences Department. He is M.Sc. (Physics), M.Phil. (Material Science) from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (Erstwhile University of Roorkee) and Ph.D. (Atomic and Molecular Collision Physics) from I.I.T., Roorkee. Subsequently, he continued as Research Associate in DST project at Physics Department, University of Roorkee. The research work performed by Dr. Jain basically deals with the multi-pole interference effect in the photo-ionization of atom, study of polarization and correlation parameters in electron and positron-electron collisions, the role of exchange in electron-atom scattering, the laser-assisted electron-atom scattering.
He has published around 20 research papers in peer reviewed journals and conferences of International and national repute. Dr. Jain has over 26 years of experience in Academia and Research. He has served different academic and administrative positions as the Director; the Additional Director & the Dean (Academics) in various AICTE approved institutions located in western UP and Jaipur (Rajasthan).
